The CAT6 Bulk Ethernet Cable, Solid Copper, Dry Gel Tape, 23 AWG is ideal for networks that travel underground. This CAT6 Ethernet cable utilizes water-blocking tape to repel moisture away from the solid copper conductors. Its four pairs of eight solid copper conductors are ordered in color-coded twisted pairs. Moreover, this cable has high-density polyethylene insulation and a low-density polyethylene jacket.

A:Most of this cable connects to POE devices (WiFi Access Points, Cameras, VOIP phones, etc..). very easy to prep and crimp. You can use a network analyzer (not just continuity) to certify the cable run at CAT6 (1Gbs speed).

A:Technically POE IP cameras have max limitation of 300ft over CAT6 Cable.
3.Q:What's the difference between CAT5, CAT6 and CAT7 Cable?
A:
·Cat5e has a bandwidth of 100 MHz, and increases rated transfer speeds with noise reduction and decreased signal interference.
·Cat6- Unlike Cat5 and Cat5e, Cat6 has the ability to reduce crosstalk. Category 6 cabling boasts a bandwidth of 200 MHz and produces higher speeds overall.
·Cat6a- With a bandwidth of 500 MHz, Cat6a more than doubles the bandwidth of Cat6 cabling. The thicker sheathing dramatically reduces alien crosstalk but does result in lesser flexibility. However, this option offers more reliability concerning speed, regardless of environment.
