Product Description
Connexions is a Cable Manufacturer with 17year experience. This USB3.1 Type-C to Type-C Cable charges your PD & USB-C devices as well as sync photos, music and data to laptops. Both Google and Apple have embraced the Type-C Connector as their new standard for all their mobile devices including laptops. There are many reasons that this connector has been embraced like it has.
This USB3.1 Type-C to Type-C Cable comply with standard PD port. The Type-C connector can be used to charge not only smartphones, but it can also be used to power lots of other devices that would have previously needed a separate power supply. This Type-C cable is reversible. That means that it doesn't matter which way you connect it. No more trying to plug in a cable, finding you got it the wrong way around, trying again and then realizing that you had it right the first time!
USB 3.1 transfers data at up to 10G, meaning it is fast enough to be used for driving 4K displays. That means that laptops (and PCs of the future) won't necessarily need HDMI or VGA sockets. You can experience up to 10G transfer rates and fast charging of phones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
USB Type-C is a universal connector that's also capable of twice the theoretical throughput of USB 3.0 and can provide far more power. That's why Apple is pairing up Type-C and USB 3.1 to eliminate the power connector on the MacBook which in turn have other vendors scurrying to match the company on both counts. This high bandwidth cable will inevitably be the standard for USB Devices, and therefore is a must have in every house hold and office.

7. FAQ
Should i get the usb 3.0 or 2.0 because i was wondering if there was a huge differnce?
There is a huge difference between 480Mbps and 5Gbps. That said, it's only going to be as fast as what you connect it to. So if you connect it to a 2.0 device/charger, it will charge/transfer at the shower speed.
USB 3.1 is the most recent version of the USB (Universal Serial Bus) standard for connecting computers and electronic devices. It is capable of data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, and while it can use the USB-C connector type, it can also use a variety of other connector types. To achieve USB 3.1 transfer speeds, your USB host connection, cables, and device must all support USB 3.1. USB 3.1 is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps).
USB 3.0 is capable of data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps. USB 3.0 is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps).
USB 3.1 is backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, except in the following scenarios:
· USB-B 3.1 cables are not compatible with USB-B 2.0 ports.
· Unless you use an adapter, USB-C ports or cables will not work with USB-A or USB-B ports or cables.
· Devices that require USB 3.1 transfer speeds of 10Gbps might not work with USB 3.0 or USB 2.0, or you might experience lower transfer speeds and impacted performance.
· Bus-powered USB devices that requires more power than what USB 2.0 can provide are not compatible with USB 2.0.
